...two funerals and a wedding.

First there was the wedding announcement.
Then the pope died.
So the wedding was postponed.
But a prince died soon after.
Yet the royal wedding went on.

Sound like a TV soap opera? Yes and No. Yes, almost everyone is glued to the TV when the show is on. No, it's not fictional because it's based on true lives.

And I? I just read stale news from the newspaper. I can't imagine myself watching every single minute of what's going on and making sure I kept up with the latest. After all, they are not people whom I know personally. I must admit that they did affect the world and I live in this world. But hey, my life has not changed.

Back to the realities of my life...

...where Civic Consciousness has gone to.

I witness an incredulous thing, in a bad sense, today.

A man, after pumping petrol, went to the counter to sign for his credit card payment. While there, he wiped each of his fingers using the first page of a brand new newspaper. The unfortunate newspaper happened to be the first among a stack of newspaper given out for free.

No harm done, some of you may say. True in a sense but if you give careful thought, harm has already begun. This is what our society has become. Civic mindedness has left together with the Ps and Qs.

We have adjusted to living in a era where people are amaze by Gentlemanliness and Politeness and Manners and Courtesy. Less than a century ago, it was the other way round where Rudeness and Selfishness brought shock and gaping mouths.

All I could do was stare (but trying not to be obvious that I was staring) because the fear of reprimanding him will put a handprint on my face. The only thing I could do safely was exchange glances with the cashier.

I'm not asking for gentlemen to open doors for ladies or even for a whispered thanks when I open doors for others. Just some pleasantries in life from others would be nice, isn't it?

...a bird? a plane? no! it's time flying by!

Gee, kwazy berry didn't realise that it's been such a long time since she last blogged. Are most bloggers like this? That they started blogging because it was the trend and then slowly lost interest? Well, not that the berry has lost her juice. Hmm... maybe she did after all.

It's true what they say. There are too many blogs on the internet. And nobody reads most of these blogs, especially if they are personal blogs. C'mon who wanna read your life story or what you have to say unless they are your die hard fans. No fans are breezing thru kwazy berry coz she's not that hot.

Talking about the weather, kwazy berry just loves the warm sun here. She's really glad to feel the heat. She missed it the entire time she had to deal with the cold windy weather down under. Now, not that hot but still a hot gal, ain't she?

It's April. Fool's gone. Mr. Two Thousand Five has finished a quarter of his life. And you wonder what happened to Miss(ed) Time.
