...the last day of the year.

What is it with the day of December 31 that starts everyone reflecting on what they have achieved throughout the year?

And what's with the onslaught of questions - What are your plans tonight? Where are you partying? Who are you hanging out with?

Yet, it is just a day that is passing through. A day that brings you closer to getting older. A day that proves life is getting by.

But you protest: "Tis not the passing by of a day, it's the passing by a year."

Now, that makes the difference.

Sing, choirs of angels
Sing in exultation
Sing, all ye citizens of heaven above
Glory to God
Glory in the highest

O come let us adore Him
O come let us adore Him
O come let us adore Him

...jigsaw puzzles.

What is it with jigsaw puzzles that fascinate some people?

  • Someone commented that it is the person's need to put things in order.

  • Maybe it is the sense of achievement that you'll get when you've completed the whole picture.

  • Or just a mere passing of time thing to do that does not involve much brain power.

Whatever the reason may be, it is sure ADDICTIVE!

"A jigsaw puzzle a day keeps the boredom away"

...the make up scare.

Do you know that there are many clueless gals out there who have almost zero knowledge about make ups?

All they know is lipstick is for the lip, eyeshadow for the eyes, blush for the cheeks and so on.

If you think there is lead in lipstick which can cause cancer, then you're wrong.
If you believe that rubbing your lipstick with gold can detect lead, then you've been duped.

Don't scare yourself. Check the facts.
Don't be an idiot like me!!

Another tip: Discard your old make up. The shelf life for most make up is 2 years.

P/S: Just threw several stuff into the rubbish bin.
